Started in SS15, the heart of Subang Jaya. Where youths of the late 90’s in Klang Valley would socially gather for latest apparels, music, skaters flipping decks and burger stalls – street burgers were huge back then. Thus, SS15 was a manifest of youth culture and lifestyle at that time.

It was also on the very street of SS15 the name of Malaysia legendary Hip Hop duo TOO PHAT was created. Which our President, Joe Flizzow co-founded.

Joe Flizzow’s vast creative network had the nation witnessed countless foreign Hip Hop act coming over for performances and collaborations. This has created a sheer need for men’s grooming for celebrities who need it hours before their shows. Hence, a group of Joe’s Flizzow personal barber started to fill the gap.

As a fan of Eddy and Arsenio, Joe’s Flizzow was inspired by the show’s "Coming to America" which located in a street of Queens as a place of common people would talk without being judged, where talk of the town lingered and ultimately where gentlemen trade their tricks amongst them.

Long story short, Joe Flizzow has summoned a troop of his favorite barbers and started Joe’s Barbershop - Bringing celebrities grooming standard to the publics.

The first outlet is in SS15 – Where it all started. No plan for franchising but due to tremendous demand, Joe’s Barbershop have a total 23 active outlet nationwide up to this date.

Clocking 9th year this year, powered by local youth serving local community, we are strongly committed in bringing high standard of men grooming to the next level.
